Emberwild Hollow
A hand-painted woodland RPG with 40+ hours of branching story.
HyperTreasureForge is an independent game studio in East London crafting handmade RPGs, multiplayer experiences, and the tools that bring them to life.
Call the studio: +44 20 7283 5200Founded on Hanbury Street in 2016, HyperTreasureForge grew from a two-person bedroom project into a 14-strong team of designers, engineers, and concept artists. We ship original titles and partner with publishers who need a craft-first studio they can trust with their flagship IP.
We work in tight, hand-picked teams — no factory-line production, no endless crunch. From cozy narrative adventures to competitive multiplayer arenas, we treat every frame, line of dialogue, and frame-rate spike as something worth obsessing over.
Every great game begins as a single, stubborn idea — our job is to forge it into something a million hands will reach for.
End-to-end game development from the first whiteboard sketch to launch-day patch notes — and everything between.
Original PC and console titles built in Unity or Unreal, from prototype to gold master, with a dedicated producer assigned to your project.

Words from publishers we've shipped with and players who've lost weekends to our worlds.
“They took our half-formed pitch and returned a vertical slice so polished our investors signed within a fortnight. The art direction alone sold the room.”
“Emberwild Hollow is the only RPG in years that made me put my phone in another room. The pacing is immaculate and the woodland feels genuinely alive.”
“Their multiplayer team rebuilt our netcode in six weeks and our match-abandon rate dropped by half. Calm, communicative, and frankly brilliant engineers.”
“The Spitalfields playtest lab caught usability issues we'd been blind to for a year. We launched with a 4.7 star rating thanks to that feedback loop.”
If your question isn't here, the studio line is always open.
Both. Some clients hand us a one-line concept and we take it all the way to launch, while others bring us in for a specific discipline like art, netcode, or QA. We scope each engagement around exactly what your team needs, and we're happy to slot into your existing pipeline.
Our core expertise is in Unity and Unreal Engine 5, shipping to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile. For backend work we build on cloud infrastructure tuned for European players. If you have a bespoke or proprietary engine, we'll assess fit before committing.
It depends entirely on scope, but full-cycle original titles typically start at £85,000 and scale with team size and timeline. Smaller co-development engagements and art packs start much lower. We always provide a fixed-scope estimate after a free discovery call.
We offer both. For our own original IP we self-publish, and for client work we usually charge milestone-based fees. On select projects we'll consider a reduced rate in exchange for a modest revenue share — we're open to structures that align our success with yours.
Absolutely. We're based on Hanbury Street in Spitalfields, a short walk from Liverpool Street station. We love hosting kickoff workshops and playtest sessions on-site, so get in touch and we'll find a time that works.
Tell us about your project and we'll reply within two working days with next steps.
